Start with three zones
Keep, unsure, gone. Don't try to make final decisions on everything at once — the "unsure" pile shrinks quickly once the floor is visible.
Flag the things that need special handling
Paint tins, solvents, gas bottles, car batteries and old chemicals can't just be thrown on a truck. Pull them aside and mention them when you request a quote so they're dealt with properly.
You don't have to drag it out
Leave everything in place. Our crew carries it out, loads the truck and sweeps the slab. Photograph the garage with the door open and we'll price the clear-out from that.
